You may find yourself constantly putting yourself last, trying to stay positive or using affirmations, only to feel overwhelmed as these strategies become another item on your endless to-do list. The pressure to maintain them feels overwhelming, yet they don’t bring the relief you hoped for.
Counselling can provide the support and guidance needed to address emotional, mental, and physical challenges. By slowing things down, we can explore your physical experiences, thoughts, and feelings through collaborative conversations, creative activities, and somatic body connection.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I offer one-on-one holistic counselling and groups, both in person and online, in Port Moody. We all need a little extra support from time to time, and seeking help from others is a courageous step in your journey toward healing and growth.

Building a supportive relationship is essential. Our first session will lay the foundation for our work together, ensuring that your therapeutic goals are collaboratively established in a way that feels personalized to your unique needs.
In the initial sessions, we’ll focus on building trust by incorporating talk, art, or somatic therapy, depending on your needs. Sessions typically take place every two to three weeks, empowering you to gain the tools for self-support.
Counselling evolves with your needs. In the beginning, we’ll establish a session rhythm—whether biweekly, every three weeks, or monthly—that works best for you. As you progress, we’ll focus on building resilience and self-reliance. The goal is for you to feel empowered to navigate life independently, with the option for periodic check-ins as needed.
